MARTY TRUSS, Camporee Chief, chose the theme "Scouting in the Wild West". This theme was in response to the many requests for it in the critiques turned in after each Camporee. The weather was fine. We added several games, which were enjoyed, and our Webelos area started a reawakening with the new leadership in that area. Close to 1800 Scouts and Scouters attended, and all had a great time. As usual, the fireworks were beyond belief, and this year's arena show featured some great acts, including a lariat artist who was only 16 years old.
